The counter, goals, milestones, the calendar, restarting without losing history, colours and the home screen widget are free forever. The optional one-time purchase adds more counters, your own milestones and export to a table or a PDF report. It is one payment, not a subscription.
No. A restart is not a reset. The day is logged, not erased: your total days across every attempt stay yours, your record stays, and the path of every attempt stays visible. You can mark a slip on any day in the calendar, and undo it if you tapped by mistake.
Yes. One counter is free, and the one-time purchase makes them unlimited. Each one keeps its own start date, milestones and history, and you switch between them from the name at the top of the Today screen.
Only if you turn on iCloud sync in Settings. It goes to your own private iCloud and nowhere else. With sync off, everything stays on the one device.
If iCloud sync was on, the app finds your history the first time you open it on the new phone and offers to restore it before you set anything up. Otherwise use Settings → Your data → Save a backup file on the old phone and Restore from a file on the new one. No account needed either way.
Open the full version screen and tap Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. The purchase supports Family Sharing.
Settings → Widget. Pick a counter, or leave it on “Same as Today” to follow the one open on the Today screen. You can also touch and hold the widget on your home screen and choose there — that choice wins.
Yes. Settings → App lock asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode — immediately, or a while after you leave the app. It is free.
Thirty-two, and you can change the language inside the app in Settings without changing your phone's language.
